letterboxes
A couple of years ago I got into making and printing multi-shot panoramic images. And to help me be more efficient with paper, I bought some dedicated panoramic paper from a company called fotospeed, measuring something like 300mm x 50mm - what is known in photographic terminology as a "letterbox" crop. Anyway, after producing and selling a few, my reduced mobility and increasing fatigue saw my outings dwindle, and eventually I sold my panoramic tripod head and associated kit as I just wasn't using it. But I still had the paper. So, what to do? Well, after much deliberation and trial and error, I settled upon some macro photography where I could concentrate on a narrow sliver of detail within the overall frame.
